Our Story

Where It All Began

Enfantspedia was born from a simple yet powerful observation: children are naturally curious about money, yet they receive little to no formal education about it. As we watched the next generation grow up in an increasingly complex financial world—from digital payments to cryptocurrencies—we realized that traditional education was failing to prepare them for financial independence.

The name "Enfantspedia" combines the French word "enfants" (children) with "pedia" (education/knowledge), reflecting our mission to create a comprehensive knowledge base for young minds about the world of money.

The Beginning

Founded under Grimbell Business Solutions LLP, Enfantspedia started with a question: "What if children learned about money the same way they learn about science, math, or languages—as a fundamental life skill, not a taboo topic?"

We began by creating engaging, age-appropriate books that make financial concepts accessible and exciting for children. From understanding what money is, to learning about saving, investing, and entrepreneurship—we designed content that transforms complex ideas into simple, relatable stories.

Our Mission Today

Today, Enfantspedia serves families across India with both physical books and digital ebooks, helping parents raise financially literate children. We believe that financial education isn't just about numbers—it's about building confidence, responsibility, and the foundation for a secure future.

Every book we create, every story we tell, is designed with one goal: to empower the next generation to make smart financial decisions and build a prosperous life.

Our Values

Early Education Matters

We believe that financial education should start early—not when children become adults and face real financial challenges, but when their minds are most receptive to learning. The habits and mindsets formed in childhood shape financial behaviors for life.

Make It Simple, Make It Fun

Financial literacy doesn't have to be boring or intimidating. We transform complex concepts into engaging stories, colorful illustrations, and relatable scenarios that children actually enjoy. Learning about money should be as exciting as learning about dinosaurs or space.

Empower, Don't Overwhelm

We design our content to build confidence, not confusion. Each concept is introduced at an age-appropriate level, ensuring children feel empowered rather than overwhelmed. We progress from basic concepts like identifying coins to more advanced topics like budgeting and investing.

Parent-Child Partnership

Financial education works best as a family activity. Our books are designed to spark conversations between parents and children, providing opportunities for real-world learning experiences and shared growth.

Practical Over Theoretical

We focus on actionable knowledge that children can apply immediately—whether it's understanding the value of saving their pocket money, differentiating between needs and wants, or setting financial goals. Theory means nothing without practice.

Inclusive & Accessible

Financial literacy is not a privilege—it's a right. We work to make our content accessible to families across different economic backgrounds, ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn about money management.

About Us

Our Philisophy

Financial Literacy is Life Literacy

At Enfantspedia, we believe that teaching children about money is about much more than currency and transactions. It's about teaching them:

  • Decision-making: Every financial choice is a lesson in weighing options and consequences

  • Delayed gratification: The ability to save for tomorrow instead of spending today

  • Responsibility: Understanding that choices have impact, both personal and societal

  • Independence: Building the skills needed to support themselves and their dreams

  • Confidence: Knowing they can navigate the financial world successfully

The Three Pillars of Our Approach

1. Age-Appropriate Progression

Just as you wouldn't teach calculus to a first-grader, financial education must match cognitive development. We structure our content in progressive stages:

  • Ages 4-7: Basic concepts (identifying money, simple counting, needs vs. wants)

  • Ages 8-10: Intermediate concepts (saving, earning, basic budgeting)

  • Ages 11-14: Advanced concepts (investing, entrepreneurship, financial planning)

2. Story-Driven Learning

Children learn best through stories, not lectures. Our books feature:

  • Relatable characters who face financial situations similar to those children encounter

  • Real-world scenarios that demonstrate concepts in action

  • Engaging narratives that make financial lessons memorable

  • Positive role models who demonstrate smart money habits

3. Experiential Connection

We bridge the gap between book knowledge and real life by:

  • Providing activities families can do together

  • Encouraging hands-on practice with real or play money

  • Suggesting age-appropriate responsibilities (piggy banks, saving jars, simple budgets)

  • Creating opportunities for children to make actual financial decisions

Breaking the Money Taboo

In many households, money is a taboo topic—something children "don't need to worry about." We disagree. This silence creates:

  • Anxiety and fear around money in adulthood

  • Poor financial decision-making due to lack of practice

  • Generational cycles of financial stress

  • Missed opportunities for wealth building

By normalizing conversations about money from an early age, we help families break this cycle and build a healthier, more informed relationship with finances.

Our Vision for the Future

We envision a generation of financially confident adults who:

  • Make informed decisions about earning, spending, saving, and investing

  • Understand the difference between assets and liabilities

  • Can plan for short-term needs and long-term goals

  • Approach money with wisdom, not fear or recklessness

  • Build generational wealth and financial security

  • Use money as a tool for achieving their dreams, not as an end in itself

Why It Matters Now

Today's children face financial challenges we never imagined:

  • Digital currencies and online transactions

  • The gig economy and non-traditional career paths

  • Rising costs of education and housing

  • The need to plan for longer lifespans

  • Environmental and social investing considerations

Traditional "learn as you go" approaches are no longer sufficient. Children need structured, thoughtful financial education to navigate this complex landscape successfully.

Our Commitment

Enfantspedia is committed to:

  • Quality: Every book is carefully researched, reviewed, and designed

  • Relevance: Content reflects current financial realities and future trends

  • Impact: We measure success not in books sold, but in financially literate children raised

  • Accessibility: Making financial education available to families across India

  • Innovation: Continuously developing new formats and approaches to financial education

Join Our Mission

Every parent who chooses Enfantspedia is joining a movement—a community of families who believe in giving children the tools they need for financial success. Together, we're raising a generation that will approach money with confidence, wisdom, and purpose.

Because when children learn about money early, they don't just build better financial futures—they build better lives.
